Time cannot be bought
A seasoning rule cannot be satisfied by a larger balance alone. If the money must be held for a period, the start date matters as much as the amount, and a late deposit may be visible in the statements.
Plan the start of the window from the application date, not from the day the decision is made. Where a route has no seasoning rule, a stable history still makes the evidence easier to accept.
Frequently asked questions
Does a gift count towards seasoning?
It depends on the route and on the evidence of source. A gift may be accepted with a declaration, or may be excluded from the seasoned balance.
What happens if the balance dips?
A dip below the requirement during the window can break the seasoning. Keep the required balance untouched until the evidence is submitted.
